AGREEMENTS
  • The Steering Committee agreed on a list of qualifications for faculty participants on committees. Nominations will be requested from chief academic officers.

  • The Steering Committee agreed that the Core Curriculum Design Committee should also consider assessment. The Committee name has thus been changed to Core Curriculum Design and Assessment Committee.

  • Committee members expressed an interest in discussing relevant research on general education. Committee members agreed to send suggestions to Dr. Leland.

  • The Steering Committee agreed that electronic meetings would be necessary but that face-to-face meetings should also be planned.
